Inside the TV world were the Shadows, monsters formed from the despair and negative emotions of humans. They discovered an alternate world that could be accessed through television screens. Though what they discovered wasn't normal. Yu gets new friends in his new school and decided that with his friends, they will investigate and resolve the urban legend as well as the murderer behind it. Into the small, Countryside town called Inaba, a town that has been experiencing strange murders that are somehow linked to the urban legend of the Midnight Channel.
